On July 14, 2022, the Rural Capacity Investment Fund (RCIF) Committee had its second meeting.
The focus of the meeting was visioning a future state of what is possible in building capacity and improving retention and recruitment in rural Alberta.
The RCIF committee also identified barriers to achieving this future state.
The RCIF Committee developed a robust agenda to guide future meetings with a focus on criteria, workflow and data.
RCIF encourages worksites to begin collaborating on ideas for retention and recruitment initiatives through Section VI of the Workforce Enhancement Task Force Letter of Understanding #7.
The RCIF Committee looks forward to our continued collaboration in the coming months to support retention and recruitment initiatives in rural communities.
